As a Southern California event planner serving Santa Clarita, Ventura, and Los Angeles County, there is nothing more meaningful than being invited back by a family years after coordinating their wedding. Recently, I had the honor of helping bring together another milestone celebration for a couple whose wedding I coordinated at Hummingbird Nest Ranch over a decade ago.

Fast forward a decade.

I received another call from that same family.

Not for another wedding.
Not for a birthday.

But for a milestone that marked growth, accomplishment, and a new season of life.

And they wanted me there to help bring it together.

This recent celebration was intimate, meaningful, and centered around honoring an important professional achievement. The details were beautiful, but what stood out most was the feeling in the room — pride, gratitude, and a deep sense of family.

What I love most about this industry isn’t just the design, the timelines, or the logistics.

It’s the relationships.

Ten years ago, I helped coordinate the beginning of their marriage.

This year, I helped coordinate a celebration that reflected how far they’ve come since that day.

That kind of full-circle moment is something I never take for granted.
